Responsibilities include:

  • Observing residents
  • Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
  • Taking care of residents’ ADL’s
  • Setting up of meal trays and documenting food and fluid intake

Required license or certification:

  • CNA

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with physicians and RNs in a health care setting
  • Administering medications in accordance with physician orders and plan of care
  • Overseeing non-licensed nursing staff
  • Effectively supervising nursing care delivered on the nursing unit
  • Acting as liaison between Certified Nursing Assistants and Nurse Manager
  • Promoting continuity of care concepts for the unit

Required license or certification:

  • LPN

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

  • Coordinating the MDS and care plan schedules for the facility
  • Administering medications in accordance with physician orders and plan of care
  • Overseeing RN’s, LPN’s and non-licensed nursing staff for the facility
  • Effectively supervising nursing care delivered on the nursing unit
  • Acting as liaison between other nursing staff and Director of Nursing
  • Promoting continuity of care concepts for the unit

Required license or certification:

  • RN

Required experience:

  • Long Term Care: 1 year

DIETARY AIDE (PART-TIME)

Northwoods Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, a small rehab and skilled nursing facility, offers a full continuum of care providing excellence to seniors.  Located in beautiful Moravia, NY, you will be joining a company that values your expertise and passion for improving your patients’ quality of life.

 

Responsibilities include:

Some of your job duties will include setting up tables with attention to cleanliness and order.  Preparing meals (under supervision) and delivering dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.  Discarding leftovers and take out garbage, as well as cleaning food stations and washing dishes, cooking vessels and silverware. Stocking ingredients and monitoring inventory. Helping maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.  

 

Required experience:

  • Experience in customer service. 
  • Friendly with great communication skills. 
  • Possess proven experience as a Dietary Aide (a plus, but not required). 
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; certification in food services is a plus.

HOUSEKEEPER/LAUNDRY AIDE

Responsibilities include:

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details.

• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.

• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.

• Removal of trash & soiled linens. *Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.

• Must be able to work as a team member.

• Solid work ethic, with an initiative for quality and customer service.

 

Required experience:

  • Must be reliable & keep to schedule
